Schumann at Fishkill Elementary [January 2015]

23Arts artist-in-residence Tanya Gabrielian made a visit to Fishkill Elementary and led a music and art collaboration with their 4th grade students. Centering around a performance of Schumann's Kinderszenen ("Scenes from Childhood"), Gabrielian's workshop gave students the opportunity to create original artwork while listening to a live musical accompaniment of the famous classical score.
