From Sao Paulo, Brazil to the Catskills! Prior to the world premiere of IMPROV CUBED at the Bard College Richard B. Fisher Center for Performing Arts, master pianist André Mehmari joins mountaintop audiences for a free commmunity lecture that will explore the past of improvisation from Bach to the Great American Songbook like never before.

This lecture is FREE ADMISSION and open to ALL AGES!

This lecture previews IMPROV CUBED, a program featuring Mehmari alongside classical pianist Tanya Gabrielian and jazz pianist Chris Pattishall in a musical journey spanning 300 years that recreates the rich and hidden history of improv with variations on works of Bach, Scarlatti, Schubert, Ragtime, Choro, and the Great American Songbook.
