The Joy of Jazz Week culminated with The Spirit of Louis, a concert
featuring Marcus Roberts and the Modern Jazz Generation, a 12-piece multi-generational ensemble featuring Jason Marsalis, Rodney Jordan, Stephen Riley, Chris Washburne, Ronald Westray, and the next generation of talented musicians.
Jazz master Roberts and his ensemble explored and paid tribute to the musical influence and legacy of the late jazz great Louis Armstrong, with a special appearance by 2012 Catskill Jazz Factory Alumna, vocalist Charenee Wade.
